Language classes
We offer courses in Swedish, Finnish and Spanish.
You can choose to study an intensive course on site in Bergslagen (Sweden), to attend a web-based course with video conferencing lessons once a week, or a combination of the two.
You also have the unique opportunity to go on a language trip to our partner Zanja Arajuno, located in the Amazon part of Ecuador. The language journey can be combined with volunteer work for those who want to.
Teacher in Finnish is Minna Roselli. Her intensive courses are held at her farm Fridhem in the village of Hörken, 8 km south of Grängesberg. Minna is an artist, so you can advantageously combine your stay with her with creative courses. Read more on Minnas page. Teacher in Spanish and Swedish is Lena Paccha Högberg. Her intensive courses are held at Kattbäcksgården. Paccha has 15 years of experience in language teaching at a Swedish high school and several years of experience in web-based teaching. The intensive courses are available as a 5-day course and a 2-day weekend course. Max 8 participants per group.
Accommodation and food can be arranged at both farms.
The net-based courses have continuous intake. We use Google Classroom as a learning platform and Zoom as a video conferencing system. To be able to participate you must have a computer, headset with microphone and good internet connection.
Send an inquiry in the contact form. Write down the prerequisites you have in the language. Once you have received confirmation, you pay a registration fee of USD 50. The registration fee will not be refunded unless the course is canceled. Once you have paid the registration fee you will receive an e-mail with a study guide describing exactly how the web-based studies works.

2-day intensive course, 10 lessons in 40 minutes: 200 USD (private 300 USD)
5-day intensive course, 20 lessons in 40 minutes: 300 USD (private 500 USD)
10 weeks course online, 10 times in 80 minutes: 300 USD (private 500 USD)
