Attend a different Spanish course - Learn Spanish in the Amazon !!!
In January 2024, you have the unique opportunity to attend an intensive Spanish course in the middle of the Ecuadorian rainforest.
Course leader is Lena Paccha Högberg, a licensed Swedish high school teacher with 20 years of experience in teaching Spanish. Depending on who registers, you can either take a private course with 1-2 participants or study in a group. We take in a maximum of 10 students. You stay at the organic center Zanja Arajuno which is an hour's bus ride north of the small town of Puyo. We prepare the dinners together with a woman from a nearby village, so we learn about local Ecuadorian food culture and practice conversing in Spanish. We study in the morning and do small excursions in the afternoon.
Date: 15-19 January 2024
We gather in Puyo on January 14:th and go together to Zanja Arajuno. There we stay in an accommodation which consists of bunk beds. Note that the standard is very simple.
After the course, those who want can stay and do voluntary work at Zanja Arajuno.
We can arrange transfers from the airport in Quito to hotels and / or to the bus terminal in Quito. From there you take the regular bus to Puyo.
Prices:
Private lessons cost USD 500 and group lessons USD 400. The course is 20 lessons of 40 minutes.
